Post Templates 4.1.0 is available

November 6th, 2009

Version 4.0.0 has been proved to be quite stable so you are now getting some new features. You can now duplicate posts, pages and templates (it has been requested on the forum). A panel has been added to the options page so that you can follow the plugin news (see the about tab in the options page). And most important, you now can edit the plugin capabilities without the Role Manager plugin (directly from the options page).

If you are a registered user and you have not received the update, please contact me by email to request the file. If you don't have the plugin, go straight to the order page.

Post Templates 4.0.0 – First Commercial Release

October 16th, 2009

Finally, version 4.0.0 of the Post Templates plugin is available. This plugin is now released under a commercial license. You can get to the plugin page and order a license (single website or multiple website) using PayPal.

The major change in this version is the support for custom fields (see WordPress Documentation). This will allow you to save custom fields along with your post/page template and automatically have them created upon a new post/page creation. Another feature which was implemented for page templates is the ability to save the template file (the php file of your theme) that will be used to display your page (see WordPress Documentation).

I hope that, despite the fact it is now commercial, a lot of people will find it useful. As usual, you can direct your feature requests and the bug reports to the appropriate forum.
