Last weekend, we went to walk Marcahuasi . Located above the village of San Pedro de Casta, this plateau attracts tourists from Lima to the search of a secluded place to camp. Pictures of a weekend hiking at altitude and sun (to change Lima at this time).
Here's a little map to explain how to get there and place some pictures. I take as a starting point the intersection Av Javier Prado Av Arequipa.

- Turn left at Av. Los Frutales.

- Turn right at Av. Nicolas de Ayllon (Carretera Central).

- Shortly after crossing the center of Chosica, turn left towards Santa Eulalia. Follow the main road which gradually turns into track.

- After some time you get to a small village where the road to the left leads to the foot of a dam. Continue on the road which climbs.

In this place where the valley narrows, turn right to cross a bridge that passes over an impressive gorge.- Map
