Last weekend, we went to walk Marcahuasi . Located above the village of San Pedro de Casta, this plateau attracts tourists from Lima to the search of a secluded place to camp. Photos of a weekend hiking altitude and sun (to change in Lima this period).

Here's a little map to explain how to get there and place some pictures. I take as a starting point the intersection Javier Prado Av and Av Arequipa.

Shortly after crossing the center of Chosica, turn left towards Santa Eulalia. Follow the main road which gradually turns into track.

After some time you get to a small village where the road to the left leads to the foot of a dam. Continue on the road that climbs.

At this point where the valley narrows, turn right to cross a bridge that passes over an impressive gorge.
