Hi,
As the title says it in Hindi, “I am in India”, for a 5 week holiday trip. I have left France on April 23rd and I have spent a day in Delhi in my friend Pankaj’s house with my long time friend Keerthi, coach of the indian climbing team. That was nice to meet him after I had left India 2 years ago. We then began our way back to Bangalore, going to Jodhpur first, Bikaner today and Jaipur tomorrow.
So far the plan should be to go around Rajasthan in 6 or 7 days, then down to Bangalore to meet the climbing team and stay in the South until I leave on May 27th.
As it is difficult to access internet and because I don’t want to spend my time here in the internet booths, I will either write more about the trip when I come back to France or I might find some time in Bangalore to put up some scanned hand writing along with some pictures. Let’s see how it goes, life is now relaxed and I feel at home again amongst the cows, the rickshaws, under the burning sun (42 degrees here in Bikaner!) and of course, with Keerthi.

I have add a new feature to the web site that allows to browse the pictures by locating them on a world map using the google map API. I hope this will help you to travel a bit with me.

I have spent a week doing ski-trekking in the Alps in early March, in the region called “Mercantour”. We had 5 days of rather sunny weather, although with a lot of wind and thus a rather high avalanche risk which constrained us to change our plans. Here are some pictures and the rest can be found in the corresponding album:
