Keerthi is a person who has helped me a lot to grow. A monument about peace. This same artist has worked on the same subject in various places all over the world. I like the idea of writing the word “peace” in plenty of languages very much. Peace, shanti, paix, paz, …

Something which stroke me when I passed neadby the Taj Mahal was the closeness between this monument, the touristic hype, the money flowing, the cleanlyness of the place and as well the slums, poor people, polluted river and open-air garbage depot. Poor farmers were however more friendly than the guides and other crooks trying to catch you in front of the monument.

Not only do I love this portrait but I also love my grand-dad. Two reasons to get this photo as my picture of the week.
