On this one you can see at the end some flashing red and green lights: these are LEDs around the portraits of 3 indian gods, in charge of protecting the truck, bringing luck to us. A big job indeed :)

April 24th: let the journey begin!

After a good night in Pankaj’s house, we are starting to plan the trip, along with the constraints that we have. First, it should be rather short because we shall be back in Bangalore as soon as possible. Then, we have to choose between the coldness and isolation of Leh and the heat of Rajasthan. Although I would have enjoyed some nature in the Himalayas, the 2-way trip to Leh would take itself almost a week. Thus, the decision is taken: this time we’ll see Rajasthan.
